God’s Will to Heal

What does it mean of the will of God? The will of God is his relationship with humanity, whether it being His love for the world, or bringing salvation in forgiveness. God’s will for humanity is his character of his omnipotence and unlimited power. Is it also in God’s Will include healing? In my early life I had known that God could heal people from the stories in the Bible and hearing testimonies from people who have been healed by God or even my own testimony of the horse accident. But until I had heard this from my first year at Charis Bible College, I did not know that healing was a part of God’s Will and plan.
In the summertime of 2015, I had taken my third course by a new person named Barry Bennet called “Healing”. I wanted to take this course to learn how I could share my testimony of my horse accident to others. But during the course my perspective had even added to my beliefs on God’s Will to heal. Barry Bennett had pointed that gave me a new revelation that I had in the story of Jesus and the Leper. This man had walked and asked Jesus if he would heal him if it was his will. Matthew 4:8-9 states, “And behold, a leper[a] came to him and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” And Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” (ESV). I had learned a new revelation that it was God’s Will to heal as well as through salvation and forgiveness.
Psalm 103:2-3 (ESV) states, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases.”
When I was done with this course my mindset had changed where I would fully trust in the Lord including his Will to heal.
Do you know the full Will of God. It includes God’s Will of our plan, purpose, salvation, forgiveness, wholeness, and healing. The leper man had trusted to find Jesus for what he had heard from others being healed. He asked if he would be healed if it was God’s Will, and the answer that he received from Jesus was Yes, I WILL. Several verses later in Matthew in verse 8:16 when Jesus also healed Peter’s mother-in-law and many others states, “That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed them ALL who were sick” (ESV).
Do you believe that God Will is provided including His Healing. If so let us pray.
Dear Lord, I know that it is your Will to heal. I do pray that others will start to trust and believe that it is your will that not only have you forgiven us from our sins, but that you want us in good health. In your mighty will, I agree and say Yes and Amen.
